The systems of Siddha and Ayurveda are very much similar. In both the systems, the basis of treatment is the three-element theory or `tridosha' (three humours) — vatha (air), pitta (bile) and kapha (phlegm) — essential for existence of an individual. It is believed that an imbalance of these three elements causes diseases.
Allopath is totally different from the Indian system of medicine and Allopath
is believed to be medicine for the modern age.
